EA Reaches Agreement To Purchase DiRT Developer Codemasters for $1.2 Billion

It was just over a month ago that Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of both Grand Theft Auto's Rockstar Games and Borderland's 2K Games, looked prepare to acquire UK studio Codemasters. With news of EA'due south offering, the Codemasters lath has recommended that Take Two'due south offer be withdrawn, saying:
